Are you on a health journey but love chocolate and are looking for a sweet treat to satisfy your craving? Well, haven’t you come to the right place at the right time.
May I present to you a healthier-for-you chocolate bar recipe. It tastes similar to a Butterfinger or Crispy Crunch, but has a wholesome ingredients list.
If you are like me, this recipe will become a staple sweet treat. You can always have it available in your freezer.

Healthier Butterfingers
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Instructions
In a large bowl combine peanut butter, honey, vanilla and salt and mix until smooth.
Add in the cornflakes and break up with either a potato masher or spoon, whilst combining into peanut butter mixture.
Once combined, form tablespoons of the mixture into logs and place on a sheet of parchment paper and freeze for 1 hour.
Once frozen, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil. Dip the chilled logs in the chocolate and place on the parchment lined sheet once again.
Chill chocolate coated logs in the freezer for another 20 minutes- until chocolate sets.
And Voila! Your new addiction. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
